SYNOPSIS: Did you know most of those who signed the constitution were under the age of 50? Before that document came the Declaration of Independence. A secular document unlike any other document written by men. Today we are going to compare that document to the Bible and see how amazing the Declaration of Independence is. To also see how for we have gone away from it.

D’varim (Deut) 20:10-11 offer them this declaration.

Deu 20:10  "When you advance on a town to attack it, first offer it terms for peace. Deu 20:11  If it accepts the terms for peace and opens its gates to you, then all the people there are to be put to forced labor and work for you.

Gal 3:26  For in union with the Messiah, you are all children of God through this trusting faithfulness; 

Gal 3:27  because as many of you as were immersed into the Messiah have clothed yourselves with the Messiah, in whom 

Gal 3:28  there is neither Jew nor Gentile, neither slave nor freeman, neither male nor female; for in union with the Messiah Yeshua, you are all one.

 

Vayikra (Lev) 19:15 judge fairly.

Lev 19:15  " 'Do not be unjust in judging—show neither partiality to the poor nor deference to the mighty, but with justice judge your neighbor.

Deu 30:19  "I call on heaven and earth to witness against you today that I have presented you with life and death, the blessing and the curse. Therefore, choose life, so that you will live, you and your descendants,

Jos 24:14  "Therefore fear YEHOVAH, and serve him truly and sincerely. Put away the gods your ancestors served beyond the [Euphrates]River and in Egypt, and serve YEHOVAH! 

Jos 24:15  If it seems bad to you to serve YEHOVAH, then choose today whom you are going to serve! Will it be the gods your ancestors served beyond the River? or the gods of the Emori, in whose land you are living? As for me and my household, we will serve YEHOVAH!"

Luk 4:18  "The Spirit of YEHOVAH is upon me; therefore he has anointed me to announce Good News to the poor; he has sent me to proclaim freedom for the imprisoned and renewed sight for the blind, to release those who have been crushed, 

Luk 4:19  to proclaim a year of the favor of YEHOVAH." 

 

Yirmeyahu (Jer) 29:11-13 plans for happiness.

Jer 29:11  For I know what plans I have in mind for you,' says YEHOVAH, 'plans for well-being, not for bad things; so that you can have hope and a future. 

Jer 29:12  When you call to me and pray to me, I will listen to you. 

Jer 29:13  When you seek me, you will find me, provided you seek for me wholeheartedly; 

 

Y’hoshua (Josh) 1:6-9 a strong GOD fearing government.

Jos 1:6  "Be strong, be bold; for you will cause this people to inherit the land I swore to their fathers I would give them. 

Jos 1:7  Only be strong and very bold in taking care to follow all the Torah which Moshe my servant ordered you to follow; do not turn from it either to the right or to the left; then you will succeed wherever you go. 

Jos 1:8  Yes, keep this book of the Torah on your lips, and meditate on it day and night, so that you will take care to act according to everything written in it. Then your undertakings will prosper, and you will succeed. 

Jos 1:9  Haven't I ordered you, 'Be strong, be bold'? So don't be afraid or downhearted, because YEHOVAH your God is with you wherever you go."

Mattiyahu (Mat) 22:36-40 YESHUA says keep them.

Mat 22:37  He told him, " 'You are to love YEHOVAH your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your strength.'

Mark 10:42-45 For the Son of Man did not come to be served, but to serve. 

Mar 10:42  But Yeshua called them to him and said to them, "You know that among the Goyim, those who are supposed to rule them become tyrants, and their superiors become dictators.
