Episode: 0002 Psalm 19 focus verses 1-4 , 7-10

Today’s discussion was prompted by a reading of Psalm 19

One of the prevailing ideas from the start was that the elements of creation have a voice or a frequency. In the opening verses we learn that these seemingly inanimate or “lifeless” objects directly respond to the presence and glory of YHVH. They are fully capable of communicating praise.

Psa 19:1  [For the leader. A psalm of David:] The heavens declare the glory of God, the dome of the sky speaks the work of his hands.

WE learn valuable insight into the importance of the night in the daily cycle of life created by YHVH. We reviewed various Scriptures detailing the need for sleep and rest in the nighttime hours for much more than renewed energy.

Psa 19:2  Every day it utters speech, every night it reveals knowledge.

Psa 63:6  when I remember you on my bed and meditate on you in the night watches.

Jos_1:8  Yes, keep this book of the Torah on your lips, and meditate on it day and night, so that you will take care to act according to everything written in it. Then your undertakings will prosper, and you will succeed.

Psa_1:2  Their delight is in Adonai's Torah; on his Torah they meditate day and night.

The conversation naturally followed to the psalms being a collection of songs. We remembered our own  early beginnings, the significance of music throughout our lives, and the central position of worship music in the foundation of BGMC. Worship music was the foundation stone of the ministry as it opened doors for sharing the truth of Scripture to a very unusual and diverse group of people.

We pondered the musical instruments and melodies that might have accompanied the words/lyrics to the psalms. The power of music to affect masses of people in deep and sometimes unexpected ways seemed to call for great measures of careful concern and responsibility for the performer.

This realization led to a discussion of the power of frequencies to affect the natural world and the spirit. YHVH spoke creation into being. Through modern research man has learned much about the presence and power of frequencies installed by YHVH into the fabric and function of creation. We tossed around various related topics like the human voice having the power to lift and heal or to tear down and destroy, the low and harmful frequencies representing the enemy forces active in the world, and the call to learn and understand the proper skills needed to be an effective servant of the King.

Psalm 19: 7-11

We spoke at length over the middle verses of the psalm. The verses are intensely heavy; bearing incredible information that we’ve not heard discussed by pastors, messianic rabbis, or even bible scholars. We concluded that this vacancy -this gap of knowledge- has led to a critical illness in the Body of Yeshua. The extraordinary benefits of Torah are expressly laid out in this passage. After learning these facts, it seems that very few people would ever dare to even suggest that Torah is harmful, irrelevant, or unnecessary. On the contrary, erasing or eliminating Torah from the Body of Yeshua is more like removing the Body’s very heart.  Yeshua IS the living Word…the living TORAH…who desires to dwell in every one’s heart.
