audio begins at 21:00 THIS EPISODE: RAMBLINGS AROUND THE KITCHEN TABLE 0001 NO ARMOR. The discussion began casually on the topic of the apparent transformation of media hosts and personalities Candace Owens and Tucker Carlson. Both of them came to prominence through the rapidly growing conservative Christian division of the political Right after the 2020 Presidential election. We remember them frequently featured at public events such as the Re-Awaken America tours, the Blexit campaign, and ultimately the MAGA rallies. In addition, both of them had publically given testimonies of their fairly recent spiritual transformation, becoming Christians. Candace more recently and candidly chronicled her journey toward being converted to Catholicism. Rather quickly, we began probing for the process by which these people seemed to have changed so dramatically to become antithetical to the heart and core values of the groups and causes that launched them to prominence and respect. How is it that they began seeking out public figures who were openly anti-MAGA, anti-Trump, anti-Israel and anti-Semitic? We talked about the avalanche of
reactions from podcasters and political thinkers to perhaps gain some
insight. In particular, prominent conservative broadcasters, Dinesh
D’Souza and Victor Davis Hanson (both of whom profess to be Christians
and both staunch supporters of Israel} This session wandered a rambling road
