What is the purpose of such drastic laws such as stoning, burning by fire, hanging? Why would a loving Father give such hard punishments to His children?

 

Deu 19:20  Those who remain will hear about it, be afraid and no longer commit such wickedness among you.

This lesson is an overview of the categories' of the Law. What will bring death. What will bring chastisement on the country. What will separate you from the rest of Israel? What will cause enemies to come. What will cause the rain to stop? What will cause blessings to be taken from your families? Conversely what Laws will cause the opposite to happen? What will cause Yehovah to give you so many blessings you won't know what to do?
